How are you different from other compliance consultancy firms? 

We are a boutique firm of compliance consultants.  We have a jargon free approach to compliance.  We will not confuse you with technical terms, long presentations or burden you with "nice to have" information, which only increases costs and can waste time.  

What types of FCA authorisations do you deal with? 

We deal with a broad range of FCA authorisations, ranging from Limited Permissions small business applications for motor dealers, finance introducers, intermediaries and as well more detailed Full Permissions applications for financial services firms, EMI/SPI/PI/AISP firms etc.

What services do you provide with an FCA authorisation application? 

We will support you through the entire application process. This means completing the application on the FCA's connect system, providing you with policies and procedures and preparing the individual SMF applications for the Approved Persons.  We will also support you with the FCA's queries following the submission of your application.

If you have already prepared the FCA authorisation application yourself, we can also review the application for you to ensure that it meets the FCA requirements.   This could potentially save you time and money in the long run and provide you with an additional check before you submit your application.

Who will deal with my FCA application? 

We will provide you with a dedicated compliance consultant who will be your point of contact throughout your engagement with us.   All our consultants hold recognised industry qualifications.

The oversight will be led by Mo Arshad, the Principal consultant and CEO, who is an experienced compliance professional with over fifteen years experience in regulatory compliance across Banking, General Insurance, Life Assurance and Pensions.

Mo holds a Law Degree, a Masters in Law as well as the respected Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association. 

How much do you charge?

For FCA authorisation applications our fees depend on the type of application.  For a Limited Limited Permissions application our fees start from £1150 plus vat and for a Full Permission application our fees start from £3750.

All the deliverables will be defined at the outset and included in our terms of reference.  This will explain to your clearly what services we will provide to you.  We will work on the deliverables regardless of how long it takes us.  This could be a few weeks to a few months to prepare the application.  We will not charge you extra.

For consultancy or advice work, we will charge you a specific price which will be based on the nature of the work that you have requested.

What is the payment process for FCA authorisations?

For a FCA Limited Permission application you will need to pay the full amount on instruction.  In the case of a FCA Full Permission application you will need to pay 50% on instruction, a further 25% will be payable when we submit your application and the final 25% will be payable when you receive your FCA authorisation.
